Welcome to real life 2.0. Are you ready to play?

There are no screens. There are no controls. You don’t just see and hear it – you taste, smell, and touch it too. In this new reality there are no rules to follow, no laws to break. You can live your best life.
It’s a game so addictive you’ll never want it to end. Until you realize that you’re the one being played.
Step into Otherworld. Leave your body behind.

Simon has a mission, he has to save Kat- the girl he loves and who has been locked in Otherworld after she was diagnosed with Lock-In syndrome. From the White City to Otherworld, Simon and his friends will have to go through battles against the Children and others creatures who live there and who are not Guests. Simon has to fight to understand what's happening in this big conspiracy that Otherworld is.

Once you start reading this book you can't put it down because Virtual Reality gets to another level in this book- to a bigger level, you are as immersed into this world as Simon is. Each character is really attaching, Simon is a really interesting young man, his parents are wealthy people and his mother is a lawyer but still- Simon doesn't mind breaking the laws. We don't get to know Kat much in this first book, so I hope we will get to meet this character and learn more about her in the second book.

I found that book really intriguing and breathtaking at some point. I like the transition between the Real World and Otherworld when Simon gets back into his real body which he left behind everytime he puts the disk back in his skull.

Last but not least, this book cover is absolutely stunning. It represents the book amazingly and is really appealing. The design and the colours make the cover looks like it is in 3D which reminds us of the Virtual Reality and the Video Games.

In other words: go grab a copy of this absolutely astonishing and addictive book on October 31st. You won't regret taking part of Otherworld.
